Pours a brownish copper color with over a finger of head. The nose bready with a hop presence that was slightly astringent. The flavor profile is suitably malty with a healthy body.

On tap. Has this beer been brought out of retirement? On tap at Whole Foods and 7.4% ABV. Also currently on tap at Pizza Boy at the time of this review.
A - Chestnut brown colored pour with thick tan lacing, light carbonation, nice clarity.
S - Toasted caramel roast with some delicate nuttiness.
T - Toasted caramel biscuity malt with some sweet floral character and a mild piney bitterness on the back end.
M - Very thick, full bodied, and sticky on the lips.
O - This is one heavy and very filling beer!

Could be a really good beer with some tweeks. Very drinkable (almost crushable) 8.5% beer. Just a bit thin in body, mild hop/biscuit nose and delicate hop profile. Could use a bigger malt presence and a touch more hop.
