Thanks? Kirb for sharing this with us.

I guess every once in awhile you need to drink something utterly terrible in order to appreciate the good stuff that is out there.

From a growler, the brew was dead flat and looked like a turbid, chalky mess of yeasty fruit smoothy. Smell/taste is primarily solvent alcohol and fruit puree with a grassy and lingering firm bitterness that just doesnt work together. Very thick and gritty in the feel.

Noone at our tasting wanted to drink more than a sip of this. You can recreate this at home if you really want to. Buy mango juice and add bottom shelf vodka like burnetts to it.

32 oz. crowler. Pours very murky. Like mango puree. Smells very alcoholic. Mango, but not a real juicy or sweet aroma. Just a combination of mango and alcohol. Taste is pretty nice up front. Hops are strong. Mango is pretty strong. But a most unpleasant astringent bitterness takes over and assaults the palate. Incredibly bitter. Very boozy. Not pleasant to drink.

L: Looks like mango juice. Thick, orangey yellow. Fleshy with fruit.

S: Mango, some citrus hops.

T: Follows nose. Mango, citrus hops. There is some real heat. Somewhat feels like there are some peppers, but apparently its from the alcohol and high ibus.

F: Quite thick. Full bodied. Not much carbonation.

O: A real sipper. Best in small doses. Glad I tried it.
