Conventional SSU look, deep dark brown with a thin mocha head. Aroma is the normal potent dark coffee, but big hints of smoke are there as well. Flavor is smooth coffee with hints of roast up front and then a big wave of spicy pepper. Lingering heat on the tongue; lingering for about half an hour. This take on SSU is for the pepper lovers, but is still a solid beer.
