Poured into a goblet: color is straw, slight haziness, but really light straw color, head is bright white with mixed bubble sizes, head presents 3 fingers thick and laces and lingers very well.
Smell is pilsner and pale malt, hint of biscuit, then Belgian yeast spice and ester, hints of pepper, earth, light bitterness - really good, interesting, light and refreshing.
Taste is similar to aroma but maybe a bit lighter in Belgian character - malt and yeast character mix to spin a nice blend of base malt sweetness, yeast spice and pepper, with a hint of moderate hop bitterness. Really good concept of a Belgian single.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, then drying and light lingering bitterness.
Overall an excellent take on the Belgian single concept - lighter and less sweet than dubbel or tripels and just a bit dry like a saison.

Voluminous three fingers worth the of white froth club prizes if loads of big chunky bubbles... Good retention and gobs of lacing clinging to the glass... Hazy straw color... The nose is primarily grassy notes... The palate is similar to nose with some additional white pepper notes... Light bodied with lots of prickly carbonation... Decent light Belgian-inspired brew...
