Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a milky dark orange to dark copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head swiftly dissipating to leave some sly messy lace.
The aroma had some piney and citrusy hops up front. Then some earthy to mushroomy sweetness. Wafer/biscuits round out the back end.
The flavor moderately leads with the sweetness blending the pine and citrus along with the wafer/biscuits. Luckily, the mushroom wasn't here. Aftertaste of pine, citrus and wafer.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, some sessionability about it. Good carbonation and ABV. Slight finish of sticky citrus and pine.
Overall, not sure where that mushroom smell came from, intentional? Me, I'm not sure, it wasn't necessarily "off." I'll just say different. Maybe again.

Pours a bright orange color with a white head and spotty lacing. Pretty good clarity.
Dank aroma of pine, herbs and citrus. Orange marmalade and pine really good nose on this.
The taste has a nice bitterness, pine and grapefruit. Abrasive to a degree and it's well appreciated. This is a dank and satisfying IPA that hits the spot.
Light bodied feel with ample lasting hop flavors that coat the palate well after the sip. A very nice IPA.
