Very different. Smells of pickles. Not sure if that's what it's supposed to be. Taste is dry and oakey? It is drinkable. Walnut Grill with my parents for birthday.

It is redundant to say that Al's has made another quality IPA.
While this offering is certainly very good, I think it falls short of some of the other offerings from this excellent brewery.
There is a ton of grapefruit flavor here and plenty of herbal and fruity hoppiness as well. Amidst all these bright flavors, there seems to be some off note underneath that I could not shake as I drank it. The body is also a bit light for my liking.
