Pours very dark black with a mocha colored head on top. Some stringy lacing. The smell is of sweet coffee and chocolate. The taste is similar to the nose with the additional burn malt in the late finish. The feel is silky and rich. Overall it’s a very nice beer. Highly enjoyable.

Super-chocolatey head gives way to a sweet stout balanced with a good winy mouthfeel and aftertaste. Thinner than my usual Tree House stouts, but quite a pleasant contrast to those.

Look- pours pitch black with a two finger tan head that quickly recedes, leaving a ring in the glass
Aroma- dark roast coffee, dark chocolate a little vanilla and some roasty char
Taste- semi-sweet chocolate fudge up front followed by coffee and a little vanilla, then some mildly bitter roasted malt notes that temper the sweetness
Feel- full-bodied with medium-low carbonation and a long sweet finish
Overall- good dessert stout that lives up to it's name as its like drinking chocolate cake. It's not too sweet though, as there's some bitter roast to balance things out
