And another, and another, and another… Brewed from a base of pale ale and oat malt with additions of flaked oats, Crystal 15, raw wheat for a juicy, hazetastic body then hopped in the kettle with Simcoe and Cascade. After fermentation with our English Ale yeast we triple dry-hop it with stupid amounts of Simcoe, Hallertau Blanc and Hull Melon. Notes of soft citrus, vanilla-like malt, pine sap, tangelo pith and pineapple juice.

At long last, I am finally getting around to an extensive brewery horizontal to clear out a massive backlog in support of The CANQuest (tm). I knew that I had a number of their beers in abeyance, but it was not until I beCAN assembling them that I realized just how extensive my inventory actually was. 14/16.

From the CAN: "I'll Have Another IPA [-] A Double Dry Hopped India Pale Ale"; "Proudly Brewed In Pennsylvania"; "PIzza. Beer. Happy."; "Please Enjoy Fresh, Preferably With Pizza. Do Not Age."

I beCAN by Crack!ing open the vent & following that with a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It foamed beautifully to form two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with excellent retention, leaving wonderful lacing in its wake. Color was a beautiful Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5) with NE-quality clarity, like liquid sunshine in my glass! Naturally, this attracted the attention of The Gelt Gang of Croesus, Midas & Mammon, all of whom joined me for a taste. Nose smelled extremely of pine, like pine sap, with a fresh, wintergreen mintiness! 8=O Suddenly, my hophead mouth was watering unCANtrollably. Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, not quite creamy, but on the approach. The taste was not as intense as the nose, but it was still plenty minty, tempered with a honeydew & CANtaloupe melon ball sweetness. Mmm. This was turning into a nice Summertime quaff. It was bitter, but not overly so, kind of in Baby Bear's realm of IBUs - just right. Color me deeply impressed! Finish was dry, but not gaspingly so, kind of following along with its tempered bitterness. Man, this was a really nice beer! YMMV.

A- light yellow/greenish hue that is clear. It has a half finger head that hangs around a bit.

S- slight citrus but not much else to the nose. it might be a melon

f- sweet melon with a hint of a berry.

M- smooth and light bodied. the booze doesn't hit quick either.

O- not bad and a decent one from Pizza boy. they have been a hard sell from me and i live less than 2 miles from the brewery. I like this one though.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy amber with a fluffy off-white head. Initial impression is citrus, spices, tropical fruits, melon, and maybe strawberry. Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Finish is dry and lingeringly bitter. Pretty decent DIPA.
