Not bad but not worth seeking out. Another reviewer said it’s “subdued.” I think that’s accurate, and subdued is not as positive as “balanced.” Lots of better alternatives.

Just out of the tap and into a clear pint glass this came. It's a bright and rather translucent copper-amber with a slight and enduring head. It brings a fresh smell of malt and hops. The body is rich and smooth, without being overly malty or sweet. Unfortunately, also subdued is the hop experience, something anticipated from a DIPA. Scant, too, is the glass lacing and the taste of the significant ABV. It's a Double IPA, with a great body, but mild in its delivery of malt and hops. This is one that can go down quickly and that could be dangerous.

Can dated 6/15/21 into pint glass. Pours a ever-so-slightly hazy gold with a brief off-white head. Initial impression is non-specific citrus and pine, not bitter but definitely not sweet. Mouthfeel is clean and crisp, about the right viscosity for a DIPA. Finish fades to a slight citrus bitterness with an interesting dankness. I think I like the "standard" Murren River better, but it's been a while so that might not be a fair comparison. In any event, this is another Pizza Boy offering that's definitely worth trying. YMMV.

Canned on 06-15-21.
A - Medium golden color with light carbonation and soapy white lacing.
S - Cereal grain and earthy with light citrus in the background.
T - Earthy citrus with some spiciness and pine and lingering dank citrus underneath. Nice lingering intense citrus on the palate.
M - Big body that's soft.
O - Don't dig the aroma but really enjoy the layer of lingering citrus on the back end.
