7/1/23 at our favorite happy hour place... Pig and Fire! Anniversary lunch date.
Beautifully thick and juicy looking in the glass. Cannot see through this puppy. No head, just a thin layer of foam across the top.
Apricot, definitely, on the nose, asking with some tropical notes of lemon, orange, and papaya.
Oooohhhhh wow! First sip is a burst of apricot and slight grapefruit. Feels lovely and soft in the mouth with just the right amount of effervescent bite. Amazing!

From the tap and delivered in a clear pint glass, it brings noticeable apricot aroma with it. Golden amber in color, it also keeps a modest white head. Apricot is the dominant smell, but there's hints of hops and malt behind it. The taste is apricot forward, but it's not sweet, as there's plenty of hoppiness behind it to make it a real AIPA. The body is supple, but refreshing on this hot day. There is a little stickiness to the finish, contrary to the lack of glass lacing. If you like the taste of Apricot, even in an IPA, you'll like this. Even if you don't, this is a nice change of pace to give a try.
