Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden.
A - Pours reddish orange with a nice one finger off white head leaving small trails of lace down parts of the glass.
S - Smells of fresh peaches, fresh toast, caramel malt sweetness and some fruity yeast. The peaches work pretty well with the base beer.
T - Starts off with plenty of peach and caramel malt sweetness. Very little else breaks through that wall of flavor. Hints of bready toast and some yeastiness come in as it warms up but not much else is happening.
M - Medium-full body with a moderate amount of carbonation. Smooth feel initially but it wears on the palate after about half a glass has been consumed.
O - Not too bad. It definitely works, although I began to lose interest in it toward the end of the glass. An interesting take on the style for sure but not something I would rush out to try again.

I had this on tap @ Al's served chilled in a tulip pint.
The color is dark crimson with good clarity and thin pale tan cap with extra small bead. The smell is mildly peachy with slight malt sweetness with subtle floral notes from the peach and light yeast esters. There is a high amount of carbonation and mild sweetness with slight toasted grain in the back with relatively dry finish without much in the way of diacetyl -pretty clean and crisp.
The flavor strikes a nice balance between malty lager and summer peach with slight sweetness in the fruit which tastes fresh and the malt has a mild toastiness which comes in after the beers warms slightly. There is an almost spicy quality from the carbonic acid -it is very effervescent but this adds to the nice bitterness to balance the sweet peach essence. Overall I was pretty impressed this is a nice take on the style and I would try this again.
