Pour is faintly hazed golden amber with a tight off white head. Nose is quite hop forward with loads of tropical fruit notes including mango and passion fruit. A bit sweet and maybe some caramel malts. Taste is also hop forward but a touch sweet. Lacks a grain bill but super tropical, tropical fruit juice and mango. Light doughy malt plays in underneath. Body is lighter with nicely assertive carb, a bit of a juicy finish.

Server on-tap at Al's of Hampden.

A - Pours murky orange with a small half finger tall white head, dissipating down to a light film, leaving spotty trails of lace down parts of the glass.

S - Smells of fresh zested oranges, citric hops, bready pale malt and a bit of caramel sweetness. Quite fruity from all the hops and oranges yet at the same time it smells a little "green" to me for some reason.

T - Starts off with some zesty oranges slowly giving way to some chewy pale malt and a bit of light caramel malt sweetness. Finish is fruity with a bit of bitterness, not lingering on the palate for very long. The "green" note continued here as well but it was not as apparent, leaving the desired flavors to shine through more brightly than in the nose.

M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, fruity feel from start to finish.

O - A nice orange pale ale. It has plenty of flavor and is easy to drink. The "green" note is there but it never really detracts from the main characters, maybe a little in the nose. Give it a try if you into this type of beer.

On tap at Al’s. Pours a hazed copper with a frothy bright-white head. Lots of rich lacing is left back. This smells juicy, with a good bite of ripe tropical flavor and danker herbal character mixed in as well. Bready malt across the back blends with the fruitiness to really give this some tanginess in the nostrils. The taste is similar, with even more sweet tropical fruit flavor and some lighter herbal tones coming in off the sides that mix with the malt to give this a dank and twangy feel. A zesty bitterness cuts down the center of the palate and lingers here in a mostly dry finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and crisp on the tongue with more of a creamy and oily feel on the edges that really keeps this easy in the mouth. This was nice. A solid APA here with a zesty and tropical fruit character that goes down smooth. Perfect for summer drinking.
