I enjoyed this crowler chilled in a willybecker.

The color is golden amber with thick haze and thin white head with fine bead. The smell is excellent -strong tropical fruit from hops in the nose with notes of pineapple and mango with slight grapefruit with dank and juicy herbal accents. The feel has a very tangy and medium high carbonation with moderate bitterness and low sweetness with slight astringency with slight sweet finish with mild alcohol influence on the palate.

The taste is tangy and fruity with herbal flavor and juicy mango hop with citrus -grapefruit flavors with spicy pepper-like in the middle with light astringent hop element with slight alcohol flavor in the finish. Overall this is a good IPA,but sort of an Extra IPA similar to torpedo with emphasis on the aroma but the rest of the experience is not extra ordinary although there is a good amount of citrus and tropical taste as expected...worth having again.

Amazing. Smooth. It's hazy like most of the New England IPA's but a little more cloudy. Almost unfiltered.

From from a 1L growler into a Victory tulip

A- pours a slightly hazy orange with a one finger pure white head. Not bad at all.

S- you can definitely tell this sucker is DOUBLE dry hopped, because the nose is absurd. So much citrus

T- nice bitter smash of citrus. Not a very balanced beer IMO, lots of bitterness, not much sweetness, but very good nonetheless

M- body is on the thin side. Little disappointed, but at the same time, at least it's not a syrupy mess

O- good solid beer. Alcohol is hidden pretty well, but the bitterness makes it more of a sipper. Recommended, and a nice house IPA

Served on-tap at Al's of Hampden.

A - Pours hazy golden amber with a small half finger tall white head leaving sticky trails of lace down the glass.

S - Smells of strong grassy hops, mild citric fruit, some caramel malt, a bit of pine resin and some light earthiness. Smells the part, hope it tastes as good as it smells.

T - Starts off with the same big grassy hop bite that stays around through the finish. Hints of caramel and toffee sweetness, pine and a bit of tropical fruit offer some balance to all the hop bitterness. Finish is a little sweet with plenty of bitterness, lingering on the palate long after the finish. A little more balanced than the nose.

M - Medium body with moderate carbonation. Sticky feel from all the hops and sweetness.

O - A nice rift on an already good beer. It smells really nice and has some decent balance but all that hop bitterness started to wear on me toward the end of my glass. I could do one or two of these but that is about it. Anyway, if you are into this kind of beer you will enjoy this one.
