This was one of six offerings served on a sampler and was given to me as the seasonal brew, no other information was known by the server. Pour is of a dark amber topped of with a full creamy head, nice. Caramel malt in the nose, also carries through to the flavor. Sweet flavor is soon replaced by the dryness of the finish. Body is somewhat watery and thins out in the end. Nice beer, lacks the full body of a bock.

Welcome Bock is brewed in the spring/early summer to "Welcome Back" tourists to Door County. Served reddish-brown in color. Thinnish mouthfeel. Aroma of sweet caramel and roasted malt. Nice initial sweet malt taste, followed by dark fruit flavors that emerge from the background. A touch vinous at times. Dry finish sucks the sweetness right off the palate.
