Pours a mostly clear amber, yellowish white lacing for a head. Good head retention.
Smells of honey, grapefruit, bready malts and piney hops.
Flavor is of piney, citrus, and floral hops over a rich bready malt base.
Medium to full body with tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
This is an over-represented style these days, so it is hard to stand out with a good IPA. This one is quite good though, and stands up well to others in the style. Great aroma and flavor, good pour, and excellent body. Very impressive and definitely worth trying if you are passing through.
