The folks at Naked City refer to Brother Orchid as either a dubbel or an abbey-style brown ale. It has the taste and smell of alcohol saturated fruits with hot phenols and notes of cherry flambé. Its color is passionate red with an initial rim of suds that subsides early. Pretty. But the over-present alcohol makes this one too hot to handle.
