Served in straight pint glass. The beer poured a clean, clear pale copper color with about an inch of just off-white head that had decent retention and lacing.
The aroma was malty sweet with a touch of grain and hops mixed in. The flavors were pretty typical for the style, malt forward, slightly sweet and with a nice tinge of hops on the finish.
The body and drinkability were both typical for the style. Overall, a nice example of the style. I'm glad to see more Northwest brewers being comfortable enough to make these smooth, easy-drinking traditional styles and not just over-hopped tongue burners. Worth a shot if you see it.
