Served in straight pint glass. Poured an attractive amber, with a slight golden tint, with about a half inch of off-white head that had very good retention and lacing.
The aroma was a blast of hops. Lots of pine and floral with a trace of citrus in the background. On the tongue, the floral notes moved to the background and the citrus shared the starring role with the pine. The beer had a very dry finish.
The body was typical for the style, in the medium range, and the dryness lingered in the back of the throat. Drinkability was very good, but with a beer of this strength, I'd rarely drink more than 2. Overall, a very nice hop bomb. Get it when you can.
