Had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at Naked City.
Appearance: rich amber hue with a touch of haze and a super thin layer of ivory foam, no doubt due to pour.
Smell: lightly sweet caramel malt with a light but interesting hint of smoke.
Taste: big smoky malt right off the bat. Not quite as sweet as the aroma might suggest. Bitterness is low but balanced. I quite like it.
Mouthfeel: medium light body with low carbonation but a very surprising creaminess. Not sure where it's coming from but I like it!
Overall: a very fulfilling rauchbier. I'm glad someone local is making a rauchbier this tasty.
