Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy medium gold color, with about a half-inch of white head that quickly dissipated into a ring that held for a while and left no lacing.
The aroma was mostly soft, mellow grains with a bit of salt noticeable in the background. The tartness of the beer was the first thing that grabbed the tongue, then the salt, and in the back the mellow, earthy grains left a nice last impression.
The body was crisp, clean and dry. Drinkability was very good, I've had a couple and will certainly have a few more while it's still on tap. Overall, a nice take on the style. Worth the trip over to Greeenwood if one happens to be in the Seattle area.
