Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, clear coppery red color with 3/4 inch of very light khaki colored head that had OK retention and good lacing.
The aroma had nice, crisp hops upfront, with some nice malts in the background and just enough sweetness to notice. The taste was similar, although the hops seemed to dominate more, and some grain showed through the malt for support.
The body was the typical medium for the style. Drinkability was good, especially if one happens to be in a bit of a hoppy mood, but doesn't want a full-on lupulin assault. Overall, a good solid take on the style. Worth a shot if you see it.
