I believe this is a different beer than the listed as "Hooptari 644", if they're the same please combine them. Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy light yellow color with about a half-inch of bright white head that had moderate retention and lacing.
An absolute blast of pine hops bops you in the nose. Deeper inhalation reveals some grainy malts and a touch of citrus. But damn, this brew sells like walking through a pine forest! I like it! The taste was mostly the same, but bolder. Pine dominates, some grain shows through in the middle, and there's a a nice citrus tang on the finish.
The body is smooth, crisp and full, without being heavy, sticky or watery. Drinkability was wonderful, if I didn't have to go to work, I'd have a couple more. Overall, a very nice brew that's worth a trip over to Greenwood. This little brewery is one of the reasons it's great to live in the PNW. A must try if you see it.
