Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy orange-amber color with about an eighth of an inch of just off-white head that decent retention and lacing.
Lots of piney hops hit the nose, with some citrus and weed tones as well. A barely perceptible amount of malt shows through. On the tongue, the beer starts out the same, but then a leather/tobacco taste shows, similar to what is sometimes found in an Old or Stock Ale. The citrus lingers at the back and the malt is a non-factor.
The body was fairly typical for the style, medium and mostly clean. Drinkability was very good, the went down smoothly, surprisingly so for a hop bomb. Overall, a nice brew, that's worthy of having a couple. Certainly worth your time if you see it.
