Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly hazy copper-orange color with just a very thin cap of of slightly off-white head that had OK retention and pretty good lacing.
The aroma was low malts, and a nice dose of citrus/grapefruit hops. The taste was almost identical. Citrus hops, low malt, bitter finish.
The body was almost exactly average for the style, solidly medium. Drinkability was good, I'll have another but, I won't go out of my way for it. Overall, a nice solid example of the style. Certainly worth a shot if you see it.
Edit 8/7/13: having another one right now, and the flavors are a lot crisper and brighter, the finish was still very citrusy, but nowhere as bitter. I'm changing my scores from; 3.5/3.0/3.25/3.0/3.25 to 3.5/3.25/3.5/3.25/3.5. Still a typical brew, but this batch is much crisper, flavorful and more enjoyable.
