Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, clear medium gold-amber with about 1/4 inch of off-white head that quickly dropped down to a thin cap, which then lasted a fair while.
The aroma was solidly malty, with just enough soft, floral hops for a bit of contrast. The flavors were pretty much the same, but with slight hints of tobacco and leather, especially at the finish.
The body was nicely medium, smooth, and even with a clean finish. Drinkability was excellent, the first pint went away so quickly that I had to get a second one just to finish this review. Overall, a very nice true "Session" beer. Highly recommended.
