Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly cloudy pale yellow color with just over 1/2 inch of white head that had good retention and no lacing.
The aroma was led by some good grains, had a nice yeast presence, and seemed low on the expected fruit and spice. The flavors started out similarly on the tongue, then some orange showed up in the middle and back, and the spice added a nice tang.
The body was the typical light-medium of the style, and the finish was dry with a slight lingering tanginess. Drinkability was very good, even for a style I generally find to be very drinkable. Overall, a pretty nice take on the style. Worth swinging by Naked City for if you're in Seattle, and if you happen to see it out some where else, grab a pint.
