Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly cloudy honey gold color with about 1/2 inch of white head that had medium retention and light lacing.
There was a nice grain malt scent, accented by some nice floral hops, with just a hint of citrus. On the tongue, the grain again had the lead, and the citrus hops were a tad bolder. The citrus lingered just a bit on the end.
The body was smooth and full, without being, and had a dry finish. Drinkability was excellent, if one were of a mind to, one could spend quite a while with a few of these. Overall, a very take on what is sometimes a boring style. Certainly worth a shot if you see it.
