12 oz bottle poured into a Sierra Nevada Imperial Pint. No date or info on the bottle.
Bison Blonde label with "Autumn Recipe" Sticker over the Bison Blonde.
A - Hazy burnt pumpkin color with a low off-white head. Mediocre retention. It went down to a ring and left little arcs of lacing.
S - Lightly toasted malts with a caramel sweetness hint hide behind a mellow hop aroma that's a spritz citrusy and a bit grassy. Not bad, just kinda plain.
T - Sweet toasted caramel malts with just a touch of hops in it. The hops mirror the nose with the light splash of citrus and grassy finish.
M - Soft and smooth going down, this medium-bodied beer has a kiss of dryness to the finish.
D - It's not bad at all, it's just mediocre. The hops are stronger in the nose and the sweetness to the flavor isn't too cloying. A good knockaround beer when you don't want to think when you drink.
