On tap at the brewpub.
Pouring a reddish brown with beautiful crimson highlights, this beer has a light brown head that recedes to a disk, leaving a little lace. The nose is solid. A light earthy hop character is present, along with a blend of brown sugar, caramel, milk chocolate and some roast. A touch of grainy huskiness is present as well. The palate opens sweet with the brown sugar being the most prominent note, but the roast and cocoa balance the flavors. Caramel sweetness is present in the mid-palate, and this beer finishes a little sweet too. Medium-light in body with light carbonation, I like the mouthfeel here. Browns aren't my favorite style, but this one is quite enjoyable.
