My 1st growler very generously sent by Miketd. Thanks man! This beer smelled like heaven upon opening the growler. Big, bold aromatic amarillo hops billowing out. Pour is gold, with no head, as it seems to have lost carbonation in transit, unfortunately. Almost reminded me of a fresh hopped beer with a nicely spicy tasting hop presence that was big in flavor, but not overly bittered. Very drinkable and I can see this being fantastic properly carbonated. Great IPA.

From the growler, this IPA pours a golden orange amber in color with a bright snow-white 1/2 inch of frothy goodness. A foamy cap stands its ground well and leaves some great lacing behind.
Tons of spicy hops and a very earthy grain/bitter citrus combo. Fresh and bright in the nose with a finishing note of pine and more of those mouthwatering, spicy hops.
Even more spicy hop character and buttery grain. Pungent yet refreshing with crystal malt and a mellow wheaty character (apparently there is wheat, Hurray me!). Lemon and coriander along with bitter orange rind and grapefruit pith. The fantastic hop character sticks around till the bitter end.
Tight, crisp and clean with a saliva inducing citric twang and a lingering bitterness. Moderate carbonation and a finish leaning toward semi-dry. Tasty, pungent and still well rounded. I definitely need to make my way out to BBC sometime soon.

Rocky, crusty, slightly off white one finger head with good stick atop a clear, shade darker than golden in color. Nice balance in the nose with stern toffee malt matched by a hop bouquet of herbals, florals, and citrus esters of grapefruit. The first sip starts with a quick malt aggression but quickly yields to a firm, dry, bitter hops that is immensely spicy. Not so fruity as I expected but does display solid zesty citrus notes of pithy lemon and grapefruit rind. Much welcomed bitter, spicy hop characters extend well into the finish. Medium body, crispy carbonation, and a thin mouthfeel that kind of slides by unfortunately without notice. The description on the menu indicates the use of wheat malts although Im not sure I could detect much wheat character...none the less a very tasty beer and I do anticipate the next pint.
