Yes, so we brewed a double IPA. For starters its 9.5% abv, approximately 8.5 lbs/bbl of hops and I must apologize that we only have a theoretical bitterness to give you: just under 100. Our beers always test higher than theoretical but that’s all I have to go by. The hops and characteristics were CITRA (earthy, tropical fruit), CHINOOK (pine, grapefruit), EL DORADO (stone fruit, watermelon) & COMET (pungent, grapefruit) and the malt base is American 2-row, Maris Otter and a couple of German specialty malts. We performed a low temp ale fermentation for a clean profile. Juan came up with a fabulous grist for this beer and we filled in so many nooks and crannies with these hops. The beer itself is golden, neither sweet nor dry and positively loaded with lovely floral hops. Massachusetts distribution only.

Bottled June 2014.
A: Pours a clear gold with a very tall and frothy light tan head. Awesome head retention as it refuses to go fade easily. Pretty decent fluffy chunks of lacing everywhere.
S: Really nice spicy, pine hop punch with lots of candied tropical fruits in the background. Oranges and pineapple I'd say? When swirled I get a ton of pungent grapefruit. Nice combination of aromas.
T: Lots of that pungent grapefruit up front, immediately followed by a smack in the face with really spicy, piney hops. There is mild tropical fruit dancing in the background but the spicy pine and grapefruit is at the forefront for sure. Finish is very drying with lots of that pungent, sharp grapefruit. A little earthiness and pine lingers between sips. As it warms up, the spicy, earthy pine is strongest and is present everywhere.
M: Medium-heavy, very pungent and dry.
O: A really nice DIPA. Lots of hop variety and complexity. Very bitter and very dry and super pungent. Spicy, earthy pine with a kick of grapefruit dominates the beer, perhaps just a bit too much. Don't get me wrong, it's still excellent. This one is a kick in the mouth for sure, as drinkability suffers a little bit.

Appearance: Slight chill haze on a bright pale gold. head is bright-white, creamy, and dense. Drops to a small creamy collar in short order with solid retention. Moderate carbonation on the pour.
Smell: Big juicy fruit aromas right up front. Loaded with peach, tangerine, grapefruit, and orange. A grassy hop element coupled with some grapefruit rind and a solid floral and earthy note. Big and hoppy without being aggressive. Malts run a bit light with a solid bread crust and pale malt sweetness. Some mango and pineapple as well. Just a ton of tropical fruit. Malts are almost lager-like in their approach. A touch of backing phenolic alcohol adds some associated spice. A touch candied.
Taste: Some solid pineapple and tangerine. Leads to a bunch of bitter pine needle and resin. A solid bit of grapefruit juice with some tropical leanings. Malt backbone is slightly sweet, offering some minor balance to the whole thing. Solidly earthy and floral with a lingering bitterness. A touch of hop spiciness complimented by a touch of alcohol spice as well. A touch of candied malt with some bready elements and a very minor caramelized malt sweetness. Juicy fruitiness. Unbalanced with a preference to the hops...obviously. Warming pushes alcohol and bitter resin.
Mouthfeel: Medium leaning to full body with a moderate carbonation. A touch of astringency thanks to the alcohol.
Overall: Dorothy could do worse.
A good, not stellar DIPA. Runs super bitter and the malts are a little lackluster. It's a nice blend of the two traditions, but it's a little less refined than expected.
