One of my favorite beers!! Can't wait for this to come around again. I'm a huge fan of sours and goses and this one is in the top faves. I love me a good salty lime beer but the thing that makes this beer stand out among others is it's unique smokey flavor. Brings me back to one of my favorite places sitting around the campfire :)

This beer is hazy, light honey amber-to-golden straw with a loose, foamy while head that quickly reaches half an inch before dropping to obscurity. Occasional rapidly ascending large bubbles of carbonation add interest within a Stiegl stange.
The aroma opens with coriander before becoming rubbery with faint honey and sea breeze brine in the background. Rubber yields to dirty socks as it warms.
The flavor begins with coriander and light salt with a touch of bitterness. Lemon pith and some celery overshadow mild sourness. Light acidity helps to balance the bitter and sweet flavors while cereal comes out late, just as a mild lingering finish begins. The finish is punctuated by lemon.
The light body is no match for vigorous effervescence, producing a rough satin texture. Alcohol is absent in this exceptionally dry beer.
This was a nice Gose from a brewer I didn't expect would brew this style. I enjoyed it on a cold, lazy, snowy, early December Sunday.
