L: Pours hazy straw gold under a 2” finely bubbled white foam collar that hugs the side of the glass.
S: Herb and spice aromas with light vegetal.
T: Herbal, citrus, spice with wheat and a lemon and orange slightly tart character.
F: Crisp with a slight astringency on the finish. Medium to medium light body and above average carbonation.
O: A refreshing, thirst quenching summer beer.

pours a some what translucent golden amber with a big three finger head that quickly fizzes out leaving no lacing. aromas of orange, corriander, yeast and wheat make up the nose. tastebuds are assaulted by bitter orange peel and corriander spice. mouthfeel is average body for a wit. the carbonation is aggressive and prickly on the tongue, could be toned down for my liking. body has a crisp quick finish. i'm glad i got to try this one, but it's not for me. dont get me wrong, it's not a drain pour or anything, as a matter of fact it goes down real easy. just dont think i'll seek this one out again.

A bomber from the brewery.
A: The witbier is a lighter yellow and, gasp, clear. That comforting unfiltered haziness replaced with transparency. A thin head, white and wispy, is all that we've got going.
S: The tartness of the wheat is strong, jumping out of my glass right off the bat. Orange zest is just a step behind. Plenty of citrus aromas wafting out of this one.
T: Wheat and biscuit both appear at the same time, a grainy flavor starting things off. The tartness follows and builds quickly, leaving a dry, prickly feel. Coriander outweighs orange flavorwise, lending an herbal aspect. A musty finish, thanks yeast, gives the ale much more of a Belgian send-off. Graininess and lemons are the lasting flavors.
M: The mustiness was unexpected, a nice touch that brings out the lemony citrus. The nose has plenty of orange but loses it by the taste, an interesting turn of events.

Served from a 2 liter flip top bottle bought at the brewery, poured into a pint glass bought from the brewery.
Light amber color in glass, hazy finish.
Big head that dissipated quickly, little lacing on glass.
Light aroma of citrus on pour.
Went down quickly, I was surprised how fast I finished the first pint. A typical wheat, but a good pint none the less.
