Was listed as Bourbon Stout on the board. I'm assuming these are the same brew.
A-Black in the glass, one finger brown head, around the edges looks more of a clear ruby/brown.
S-Bourbon, chocolate, some coffee and roasted malt. As it warmed vanilla crept in as well.
T-Starts with a nice bourbon notes, vanilla and chocolate. Ends with more of a coffee and roasted flavors.
M-Medium bodied, not much carbonation. Could be a little more creamy.
O-Second bourbon barrel beer I've had of theirs. Neither are out of this world but both solid. Hopefully they keep up the barrel aging program.

from the cask at the brewpub an opaque chocolate black to a 26oz stein with a huge, small bubbled, foamy, long lasting mocha head leaving spotty lace after each sip.
aroma of muted chocolate, vanilla and bourbon.
fairly big bourbon forward though not to the point of distraction, and as the brew warmed, the bourbon sat alongside the oak, cocoa and coffee quite nicely.
a bit thin, smooth, medium carbonation, sweet after.
overall: nice bourbon barrel treatment of bbc's everyday stout.
