cold from the tap to a 5oz taster at yogis - deep mahongany brown with a finger sized, short lasting foamy tan head
dark sugars and toffee, caramel aroma
medium bodied, big carbonation, super sweet, butter toasted brown sugars, a bit of heat after
nice variation on ruby bloom

An imperial version of their Ruby Bloom, had on tap this past weekend at the BBC while in Bloomington. Poured a very nice deep, ruddy red with some nice head and lacing. Very strong and malty scent, thick and heady, some earthiness in it. Strong malt flavors, nice and thick; caramel tones as well with a wonderful earthy and slightly floral finish. Goes down very smooth, very thick, with just a hint of heat.
