Too malty, rather sweet, needs more citrus and hop flavors. Balance is off though.

On cask at MacNiven's Scottish restaurant in Indy. Poured a very nice mid-copper with great head and good lacing. Very malt thick and heavy aroma with a wonderful earthy and slightly floral hop bitterness. Huge malt sweetness with a great hit of floral, bit of earthiness, and slight pine hoppiness. Very thick, and a bit of alcohol heat, but still rather smooth for an impy pale; went down very well with the cask version.
