Beautiful deep black colour. Impressive for 7.5 abv. Tan head that dissipates quickly. Smell is strong, coffee, chocolate, roasty. Taste is coffee, then roasty, then sadly burnt. The burnt taste is really strong, and lingers really strong. Such a shame it started of so well. Feel is okay, burntness just overpowers most of it for me. Started off, didn't end well.

Poured at just a bit warmer than fridge temp. Pours black with tan head. Head quickly dissipates. Nose delightful and it's no question that this is a classic imperial stout. Quickly getting roasted malt, toffee, dark fruit, tobacco, coffee, and a wonderful layer of dark chocolate.
The taste is intense, burnt toffee, roasted malts, tobacco, coffee grounds, dark chocolate, and black licorice. The mouthfeel is pretty thick. Aftertaste is definitely charred wood. Love it!
