Poured at fridge temp. Pours a deep black with brown head. Looks like oil! The nose is bursting with roasted malts, fudge, toffee, black licorice, and molasses. Some dark fruits come through as well. The taste is insane. Super intense and rich. The roasted malts are at the forefront. This is a straight up imperial stout that doesn't try to hide itself with other stuff. If you like intense imperial stouts, this is the one for you. Burnt toffee, charred wood, black licorice, tobacco, coffee grounds, molasses, some dark fruit, and vanilla. Wow. Every sip makes me want another sip! The mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Overall, one of the best non-BA and non-pastry imperial stouts that I have ever had.
