Impossible to categorize this beer with the given options.
This is a cognac barrel aged beer that starts with a 5% Biere Ambre & somehow yields an additional 5.7%abv from the BA.
Sounds crazy & apparently the brewers are just as amazed...
Medium full body, frothy mouth feel, mild carbonation.
Nice roasted malt presence upfront with a solid presence of caramel. Fruity notes with a hint of spices and a nice presence of cognac. Finishes with a lingering cognac note and a hint of sugary malt.
Overall; simple, solid, interesting and unique. The only problem; you don't notice the alcohol until it's gone!
