Dark brown color with a thick beige head with great retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with predominant notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Hints of licorice and vanilla.
Flavor with notes of roasted coffee beans, cola, spices, charred wood, wheat, plums, something citric, herbal hops and vanilla. Dry and bitter aftertaste with a lingering spicy and roasted note.
Medium velvety body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 7.2% is well disguised.
Interesting Dark Lager with good personality on three fronts: roasted, hops and spices. I was expecting something bland and refreshing.
