Picked up in Brazil a few days ago, shared with rudzud.
Light fizzy head, dark molasses ruby color.
Nose tons of chocolate, milk choc, crispy wheat biscuit like rice crispies in the chocolate, caramel, light fudgey, fake chocolate like.
Taste is all chocolate, milk choc and caramel, candy bar with biscuit and crispy rice again, lactose and choc flavoring. That's about it. Finish mild dry and little bitterness, lingering mild choc and fake choc.
Mouth is med bod, little creamy lactose and choc, etc, decent carb.

Thanks for JLindros for sharing.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a dark brown with a thin halo.
S - Aromas of roasty, toasty malts, light chocolate, grains.
T - Taste is more roasted, toasted malts, grains, milky chocolate. Decent.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, a little creamy.
O - Overall this beer was okay, the chocolate was a bit overpowering of the brown ale. Again, just okay.

Bottle in my chocolate went wide, but the coffee left a lingering aftertaste, which soon faded. It is full-bodied. The carbohydrate components mean the addition of?

Great beer - for Brazil. This beer's claim to fame is that it got 2nd place in the Brazilian version of Oktoberfest in Blumenau in 2013. In the land of poorly crafted alcoholic beverages, it's definitely worth trying, but on a world standard it's nothing special.

Black color with a caramel thick head of medium retention.
Aroma of toasted malts and lots of dark chocolate, as some was added to the recipe.
Flavor of toasted malts, mocha, and a perfect amount of hops. Aftertaste brings more chocolate and it is mildly dry. I was surprised with the balance of this beer.
Light body, a bit oily with medium carbonation.
Very pleasant porter (don’t think it is a brown ale). It is the best one of the Backer series and recommended for chocolate addicts.

355ml bottle served in a Backer tulip glass.
A: Pours a dark brown clear color forming a medium tan head with low retention and some lacings formed and left
S: Smell is strong on chocolate. A chocolate infused beer, for sure. The remaining smell is composed of roasted malts, mainly. A bit fruity and some flowery hops
T: Taste is a bit disappointing. Sweet upfront, burned caramel and roasted malts. But it's, at the same time, quite light and watery in the mouth
M: Very watery and light body. Medium to low carbonation. Slight roasted bitter aftertaste
O: Good drinkability. Nice beer

This is a brown ale infused with chocolate. That sounds good. On to the beer:
Poured into a Backer tulip glass, this beer is cola colored with ruby red hues. The head is solid, eventually it drops to a thin lacing around the glass. Out of the bottle you can smell the chocolate. And more chocolate. And more chocolate. Imagine opening a Lindt milk chocolate bar from the wrapper, smelling it, and that´s what you get.
Fortunately, the flavor isn´t far behind the aroma. Chocolate powder dominates the palate, toasted malts had a little bit of an accent, more chocolate arrives and takes your palate on a ride. It´s quite easy in the mouth with its very smooth feel and light-medium weight.
Here´s a beer for the chocolate lover. To my suprise, Backer Brown was a great experience, and I´m sure to take that ride again.
