I had a 330ml bottle. This looks like a new addition to the Vale range. I was pleasantly surprised. Generally I like their beers and this did not disappoint either.
Appearance: pours as the name would suggest, a clear and bright golden colour. A good clean white head.
Aroma: very nice fresh fruity but subtle hop aromas present that linger through to the end.
Taste: some residual sweetness present that compliments the hop a aromas and lightly toffee malt flavours there but nowhere near what you see in a darker English ale for example. Crisp bitter finish, again it is subtle.
Overall: very well balanced ale with subtle hop aroma and subtle bitterness with very nice malt flavour. Certainly a beer you can easily drink a few of in a session and the ABV of 5.5% is a surprise for such a subtle beer.
