(Served in a strange)
Validade de 20Jul12
Bottle 4.8% 355ml
A- This beer pours a clear yellow body with a sea of microbubbles and a bubbly snow white head that last a good bit.
S- The clean wet stone aroma has a slight tart hint that is well lagered and a slight musty note that grows into a silage hint as it opens up.
T- the mineral water taste has some carbonic acid finish with a green lime leaf sweetness and a slight tartness to the sulfury hop hint in the finish.
M- The medium-light mouthfeel has a tight fizz and a slight creamy texture in the finish.
O- There are some ok Kolsch qualities in there but also some odd hop flavors in there and the finish was not really crisp but more creamy.

I had it straight from the chilled brewery tanks, not even had gone through any of the brewery pipes. So couldn't be fresher.
Unlikely the usual final product, in the case of this Pilsner it was unfiltered. So it has a hazy pale golden color.
Poured a 2 finger head with short retention.
Faint aroma of malt. Refreshing taste of floral-grassy hops and malt sweetness, the latter is more predominant. A bit acid and citric, giving a pleasant and crisp feeling. Aftertaste is mildly dry.
Decent pilsner for bringing volume to the brewery given it is drinkability to the average crowd. They have its alter ego called Camila Camila which is much superior.

On-tap at Emporio Alto dos Pinheiros, on to the beer:
The classic pilsner look. Straw yellow color in the body with a creamy head served on top with great head retention and lace. It's aroma is made up of a sum of lots of smaller aromas. Little waves of pale malt sweetness and grassy aromas please the nose.
The taste is classic pilsner with a Brazilian twist. In addition to the usual suspect of grassy hop flavor, it's a littel bit sweeter. Sweet like honey graham crackers. More balanced than the usual micro-brewed Brazilian pilsner. The creamy smooth feel the beer gets from the tap enhances the experience. To sum it up, it's lovely drinking stuff.
It's no Tcheca, but what is? Bamberg Pilsen is a good choice for everyday drinking.
Update 4/5/15: Had again on 3/4/15 on-tap. Not as flavorful as I remember.
