600ml bottle served in a Dimpled mug.
Pours a dark yellow (golden) color. Clear. Forms a big thin bubbled and creamy white head. Good retention and lots of lingering lacings left in the glass. Strong pale malts and grassy hops in the nose. Crispy. Taste follows the nose. Very malty and crispy. Dry and bitter. Great notes of grassy hops. Light body and good carbonation. Malty and grassy in the aftertaste.
Great drinkability. Excellent Czech Pilsener. Very well done. Bamberg quality

I had it straight from the chilled brewery tanks, not even had gone through any of the brewery pipes or kegs. So it couldn't be fresher.
Golden color with a two finger thick head with medium retention.
Light aroma more towards floral and herbal hops.
Taste begins mild and refreshing and then towards the aftertaste you feel its Saaz hops (it is made with 100% of it) in good quantity to give a hoppy kick (this one was made with 48 IBUs – though fell a bit less given its harmony). Well balanced and with hints of flowers and citrus. Aftertaste is dry and bitter.
Light body with good carbonation.
I quite liked it though not my favorite style or choice of hops, and if it had a more pronounced aroma would be another plus. A very nice Czech Pilsner, some will agree with me that this is better than the biggest Czech sellers in Brazil. And having a fresh Pilsner makes the whole lot of difference.

From a 600 mL bottle, thanks Jon,
A: Pours gold with a medium white head, solid retention, spotty lace.
S: Spicy Saaz hop notes, bready pils malt, has a fruitiness to it, that made me think ale at first.
T: As with the nose the Saaz are spicy and working here balancing the malt and making a tasty balanced beer. Good stuff.
M: Crisp and smooth, light to medium-bodied with pleasing aftertaste.
O: The lagers I've had from Brazil have been a mix bag, but I really liked this one. Very much to style, and it has held up well on the journey to America.

This Bamberg release was inspired by the hit song "Camila Camila" recorded almost 25 years ago. Lots of small images relating to the song are scattered around the label, highlighted by a closed fist. In the 600 ml format from Sergio via Ricardo, on to the beer:
Clean golden yellow colored with a solid head and a few strings of lace. The nose is more ale-like than a lager, with a little diacetyl and fruity aromas. I fear of another diacetyl spoiled beer, but the taste almost immediately wipes out any doubt of that happening again. Spicy Bohemian hops are the dominant figure of the taste. I don't think I can recall any pilsner being so dominant of (fresh) Bohemian hops (a fresh bottle sure does help!). Light fusel note, also light honey sweetness. The aftertaste continues with the spicy hop theme. Its body is light-medium and refreshing.
Like the song, Camila Camila is soft, but gives you everything she's got. It's much hoppier than the original Bamberg Pilsen, and just as worthy of a taste.
