Poured from can into glass, aggressive pour yielded 2+ finger, good retention, excellent lacing. Bright golden yellow in the glass, slight haze, but still clear. Cracker, doughy malt along with some noble hops on the nose. Taste follows the nose, clean grain, grassy hops and a slightly spicy, crisp finish. Residual taste left on the palate is appealing. The finish on this beer makes it very enjoyable to drink.

Brown 0.5 litre bottle, best before 2nd Sept 2010, drank 23rd Feb 2010. Poured (three times) into a 0.2 litre stemmed Veltins Pilsner tulip.
Looks like a pilsner, light golden in colour, pure white head. Clear, clean and bright, loads of bubbles rising through the beer on each pour. Good head retension and lacing for a lager/pilsner.
No great aromas, some hay/straw and a slight grainy hint as the drink warmed.
Sharp and refreshing and that crisp pilsner feel only the better ones give off. There is a hop presence, but not much, with even less of a malt taste. Having said that, it is a pleasant beer and a lot better than most beers of this style.
Pilsners don't have a big body feel or richness, they are light coloured and light bodied, this one carried off the style well, while still letting you know you'd had a drink.
