Nice Amber color for this type of beer... smells like caramel, red fruits, apple and a bit of vanilla... smell is really good, but taste and feel don't reach the same level.

L- Clear bright amber body with a fluffy ivory head, low retention, leaving a nice complete thin crown of head.
S- Malty, biscuits, caramel, spicy, slightly citrus hops.
T- Sweet toasty malts, bread. A light bitter touch lingers at the end. Taste lacks a bit of strength.
F- Smooth, thin.
O- Taste lacks the nice punch of the aroma. Still a nice brew.

Amber copper color with a thin off-white head with medium retention and leaving laces.
Very light aroma for the style with hints of red fruits and caramels.
Flavor with notes of toasted malts, nice spices, floral hops, hints of red fruits and bubblegum. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Light towards medium body with appropriate carbonation.
Easy to drink Scottish Ale, it has good spices and hops but misses the usual fruitiness for the style.

This amber ale produced a thin head and a nice balanced citrus, malt nose. Some of those same characters come through in the flavour, unfortunately they disappear fast. I had trouble picking out some of the flavours they went away so fast. I asked another person in the bar I was at they had the same problem. It was too bad the nose drew me in but the palate wasn't there.
