Pours a light copper colour with a fading clear white head.

Soft malty aroma, although some nice hop character on the front.

Nice sweetness on the mid palate with a nice malty finish.

Not normally one for the English style Pale Ales but this one feels like a good bridge into the style.

Worth a crack.

I had a 330ml bottle. This beer won a bronze medal at the 2014 CBIA Craft Beer Awards in the 1M category Australian Style Pale Ale.
Appearance: pours nice Amber colour with good white head.
Aroma: some mild fruity citrus aromas present but not you have to work hard to pick them up as they don't dominate.
Flavour: good refreshing beer. Nice balance of flavour and bitterness again not overpowering but mild.
Overall: a very well balance full flavoured beer that is great and drinkable but does not stand out in any particular, just good overall.

Poured from a 330ml bottle into a pint glass.

A- Pours a clear pale gold with about 2 cm of bubbly head that subsides pretty slowly to a thin whisper. not much in the way of lace.

S- some sweetish malts upfront, followed by a hint of some grassiness as well, but im really searching for it.

T- Straight up there is a bit of sweet malt, golden syrup, and some grassy, herbal hop. a slight bitterness just rounding things, without adding too much.

M- on the lighter side, a really very prickly carbonation runs throughout it. a little too carbonated i think.

O- not a bad beer, but really a touch meh. nothing unpleasant, but theres really not a whole lot happening.

Pours a dark golden colour, extremely clear and filtered and very light-bodied. Head is fine with some speckled, patchy lace. Very light, all over, really. Not particularly exciting.

Nose is very light. Some caramel sweetness overlaid with a faint hint of hay, the only organic or green hop character. Mild and rather carbonic. Pretty unimpressive.

Taste is similar. Light malt character, with a bit of metallic bitterness on the back. Very light, with a sort of musky sweetness on the finish. But it's all very mild, only that biting, almost coppery character gives any flavour, and I'm not sure I want it. Feel is light but smooth.

Not a fan. Extremely bland, and with enough characters that are actually unpleasant to make me consider it actually bad.

This brew pours a see through very light amber hue with decent carbonation that produces a two finger head with little lacing, the smell is average with aromas of grains and some slight herbal hops, the mouthfeel is very light and pretty carbonated and the tastes of caramel, honey and herbal hops is very briefly encountered due to the high carbonation, overall even though this brew is easy to drink so is water and therefore couldnt see myself buying it again anytime soon.

It is more of an English Pale Ale over a US Pale Ale...although it is slightly hybrid, with a touch of noble floral hops.

Looks quite alright, smells more floral than malty, & taste was the best feature...enjoyed this malty sweetness on a cold winters day. Biscuity, bit of caramel, but not too sweet & finishes with some hops for balance...

Gotta say I enjoyed this...was down the Beaufort way over the long weekend just gone & sampled all 3 (Pale Ale, Pilsner & Amber Ale).

Their Amber Ale was my fave & VERY nice...well done to the local boutique brewery

Pours golden with a very large head.
Aroma is very English, with plenty of caramel and toffee. There is some light floral hops, but its nothing compared to the malt.
Flavours show similar malt characteristics but with a hint of grainy bread as well. Finishes with a light bitterness.
Body is a bit watery.

This beer was bought directly from the brewer at a farmers market.

To be fair this beer looks pretty good when you give it a hard pour. The first bottle didn't come to much but I gave the second a lot of agitation on the way into the glass and it came up with a nice tight head that stuck around a bit and laced pretty nicely. Add to that a nice crystal clear golden colour and you've got a decent looking beer.

Oh dear. Once you smell this beer things start to go wrong. Instead of punget hop aroma all I get is musty dampness and metalic aroma, very odd for a beer I believe to be super fresh.

Mouthfeel is actually about bang on for a drinkable pale ale style beer. There appears to be more carbonation in the mouth than is evident when poured.

The taste is god damn awful. It has a really nasty CUB kinda taste that has so little to do with pale ale that I can't begin to describe. There is a hint of fruit but it's over powered by a horridly dry nasty flavour that I can't quite pin. I'm grimmacing just to taste it. I'm strugling to even believe this was brewed with an ale yeast. Seems to me to taste like industrial lager at this point on my second bottle.

Overall this is a dreadful beer and I so wanted it to be good after talking to the brewer. I love supporing local breweries but I can't recomend this. The rest of this glass is going down the drain and I may not even force the rest of the six pack on guests.

Obviously I really enjoyed this beer.
Being deep gol it has a fine quiet bead with a head that doesnt linger.
There is a potent orange sweetness to the nose which is also apparent in the palate as a fruitiness with a less sweet floral component.
Mouthfeel is great in that it fills the mouth with flavour and structure in a well co-ordinated assault.
I think it was a wonderful beer, and I will certainly try it again.
For me it compares well to LCPA
