A similar atmosphere to a Whole Foods or any other organic grocery store. Maybe not as well light as some other stores but well organized. Beer selection is in the coolers and always available cold.
The beers are a hodgepodge, some BMC type stuff along with good craft beer and local beers. Usually you can find something good or interesting and it is not as picked over as other local stores (good beers seem to be easier to find there).
Staff was friendly and helpful but not very knowledgeable in beers.
This place also has ht prepared foods but I did not try them, in the past they have always been pretty good. They also have a very nice meat selection including their homemade southern breakfast sausage.
The six packs and twelve packs are priced about average but the best deal by far is the mix-6 for $8.99 regardless of what singles you place in it (and many of them are over $2.50 a piece separately).

Again another one of your typical organic grocers with a decent beer selection. You can find pretty much everything that you need inside of a fresh market for sure. Great food, bath supplies, you name it. Beer is mostly in a cooler section and mostly limited to sixpacks of nearly every kind. Prices seems to be about in line with the rest of the area, though possibly a touch higher, but not that bad. Staff was courteous and eager to help. Overall a decent top for food and beer, I wish one of these was close to my house I would be there all the time.

This place carries a good amount of singles and sixpacks from a fair number of craft breweries such as, Kona, Shiner, Redhook, SA, Flying Dog, Great Divide, Pete's Brewing Co., and a 'local' brewery that I can find no where else in the city bottled, Starr Hill. This brewery puts out high quality beers in my humble opinion. They also carry a good amount of world beers such as Hoegaarden, Spaten, Chimay, and a large line of Franziskaner.
They have the option of the "make your own sixpack." What sets this place apart from, say, Total Wine, is that the sixpack is $8.99 regardless of what's in it (from my experience). They don't scan each bottle separately, but rather just scan the carton they are in. Their Chimay goes for $4.99 for the 12oz., but placed into the mixed sixer, falls within the $8.99 total limit. A nice little loophole to keep in mind.
I have yet to have any sort of staff help me with my questions or offer help in any way. They seem to be about the groceries and the wine. Overall, I find this a plenty acceptable place to buy some beer on the way home or whatever. It's not the best place in the city, but it's worth a stop.
