12oz mug at Hops.

L - clear and yellow, no head at all.

S - sweet and grainy aroma with a little earthiness in the background.

T - not much flavor besides some grains.

F - light bodied, it's wet.

O - I don't really like light beer and this didn't change that for me.

I bought a 1/6 bbl of this as a concession to the wife. She wanted something on the kegerator that she would enjoy in the summertime. I have to say, although I am not a light beer guy, it really is a nice and refreshing brew. FOR A LIGHT BEER, it tastes pretty darn good, and does exactly what it should. It refreshes, has a nice tight carbonation, and tastes better than the BMC alternatives. Appearance is alarmingly light, but that may be because I do not drink light beer. Head is good and thick. Looking at my empty glass next to me, the lacing is excellent. I can count the number of pulls I had. Taste is nice for a light lager, and dry. Nose is unremarkable. Overall, I give this one a thumbs up, for a light beer. Definitely a better alternative.

Hops does a pretty good job with all their beers although I haven't had anything too spectacular. This is their worst effort, but it is a light beer and compared to mass procuced swill it's actually pretty good. Golden color, small white head and a spot of lacing here and there. It goes down easily but there's not much to it with it being slightly sweet with some malt and grains. Clean and refreshing.
