can. spiegelau ipa glass. brewed with orange peel.
(3.30) A: Dark orange, good clarity, rapid carbonation factor with a off white head that was initially 2 inches with a frumpy, bready texture. Fair rate of retention, sloppy dabs of lace, moderate coverage.
(3.30) S: Dry pine, dry orange, moderate strength nose.
(3.60) T: Flavor was caramelized dry orange peel, with a good level of dry hopping of pine and grapefruit peel. Malty depth, liquid bread body, lingering hops of grapefruit grind, spicy dry orange after the swallow.
(3.70) M: Bready mouthful, sticky malt, medium body with a good rate of carbonation.
(3.60) O: Overall good malt depth, good level of dry hopping, just not alot of hop flavor complexity. Good hop fix, just don't expect to be amazed or enthralled. Decent for a try, holds little incentive for recommendation or repeats.

12 oz. can poured into tumbler.
A- Gold, with some copper hues. Off-white head. One finger. Fairly dense. A little lacing.
S- Sweet malty aroma, caramel and bread. Hop aroma is up there too. Citrus, orange.
T- Pretty smooth light flavor. Citrus, and some bread notes.
M- Smooth. Sweet, not overwhelmingly bitter. The finish is semi-dry.
O- This one isn't bad. I actually have to say I like this better than the 113 IPA.

Servign Type - Can
Appearance - Dark tan, murky brown with a nice foamy 2 inch head, lots of lacing.
Smell - Danky hops, orange, a little pine. Some caramel malts and spices near the finish.
Taste - Much like the smell, some dank hops with some pine make up the most flavor. Some orange mixed with some lemon and some spices give it some flavor to a bland beer. Caramel malts come out some at the finish. Pretty much all that needs said about this beer.
Mouthfeel - Hops nail the tongue and bitter it up. Palate gets some spices and malts. Aftertaste is a little piney, bitter and warm.
Overall - Above average ipa from a above average brewery. Rather simple, easy to drink with just enough hop profile to enjoy. I can drink this again or I can never drink it again, im fine either way.
